It was 2009, after June Dillinger’s career at Delta airlines concluded, her father passed and her own marriage ended, she began wondering what would be the next chapter in her life.
Drawn to seeking, June’s path lead her into years of personal development to be followed by a calling to Unity Church of Hawaii. In the mix of her life and in dating, June made a few poor choices. Her mother said, “If your life is messed up, go be of service”. June had created a public television show called “It’s All About Love” and was already volunteering at the women’s prison on Oahu facilitating Toastmasters but her mother felt it wasn’t enough and said “give more”. That next Sunday June was sitting in church at Unity and there was a call for prison ministers for the men’s maximum penitentiary. While she was on a spiritual path, this wasn’t what she had in mind, but there is was… the invitation to grow and give. The simple act of pushing herself to serve deeper, created opportunities that were entirely unforeseen.
June met a new friend during this time who was a wedding officiant. Toni had a thriving wedding business on the island and invited her to join. Toni saw that June was a natural presenter and sensed that she would be a perfect fit to conduct wedding ceremonies as an officiant. A few months later, after accepting the offer, June realized she could do it myself, but I didn’t want to be in competition with her friend. So, she decided to ask Toni for her blessing to open up my own wedding business. Toni, responded, “There is enough love and money for everyone; how can I support you?”

Recommitting to one another by renewing your vows and choosing a destination ceremony will create a benchmark to remember for the rest of your lives. It is often done on a big anniversary (tenth, twentieth, fiftieth, etc.) or when a couple has gone through a rough period and wants to reaffirm their commitments to one another. It could also be the large, expensive celebration you couldn’t afford when you first got married or a simply ceremony unlike the one you may have had.
While there are general guidelines you can follow, note that there are many ways to tailor the experience to the wishes of you and your sweetheart. Our wedding packages are the same service as renewal.
"My wife and I wanted a non-faith based wedding that touched upon Ohana and thankfulness for wonderful friends. She was super collaborative with the vows and was not only professional, but definitely emitted a carding demeanor throughout the ceremony. June was able to meet with us before the ceremony to make sure we were all were prepared beforehand. Everything went beautifully and we couldn’t thank June enough.
Highly recommended!"
